A £10 item for a non-VAT-registered seller has £0.67 commission, £0.39 processing and £0.21 fee VAT: £1.27 total.
The same £10 item for a VAT-registered seller with a VAT number on account has £1.06 deducted by Whatnot before the seller handles their own VAT obligations.

Assumptions that change the answer
Why is the fixed fee £0.15 for some orders?
Whatnot currently reduces the fixed processing component from £0.25 to £0.15 when the item subtotal is £10 or less. The programme has no published end date.
When does Whatnot add VAT to fees?
Whatnot says it collects UK VAT on fees from non-VAT-registered sellers, but not from VAT-registered sellers whose number is on the account.
Does this cover every category?
