Common questions
Assumptions that change the answer
Is Stripe a marketplace in this comparison?
No. It is a direct payment processor; audience acquisition, storefront and marketplace fees are outside this result.
Is currency conversion included?
Choose a conversion-required profile to include Stripe’s published 1% addition. Do not also enter that same conversion cost as an exact adjustment.
Are manual entry and ACH supported?
Yes. Manual card profiles include the 0.5 percentage-point addition, and ACH Direct Debit applies the published 0.8% fee capped at $5.
What about custom pricing?
Enterprises may have negotiated pricing. These schedules use Stripe’s published standard pricing.
